1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of valulens.net and the Valulens property intelligence platform (together, the "Service"), operated by Valulens OÜ, a private limited company registered in Estonia ("Valulens", "we", "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. The Service
Valulens provides evidence-cited property valuation reports and document intelligence covering real estate in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, drawing on public registers, transaction data, and documents submitted by users. The Service is intended to support — not replace — independent professional advice.
3. No professional or legal advice
Reports and outputs generated by Valulens are informational tools based on available public register data and comparable transactions. They do not constitute a certified appraisal, legal advice, financial advice, or a guarantee of market value, and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any transaction, financing or legal decision. Always seek independent professional advice for material decisions.
4. Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials and for all activity under your account.
5. Uploaded content
You retain ownership of any documents or content you upload to the Service. You grant Valulens a limited licence to process this content solely for the purpose of generating the report or analysis you requested. Uploaded content and derived reports are automatically deleted 90 days after upload, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any document you submit.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the Service for unlawful purposes; attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape or bulk-extract data from the Service without permission; upload content that infringes third-party rights or applicable law; or interfere with the security or normal operation of the Service.
7. Intellectual property
All rights, title and interest in the Service, including its design, valuation methodology, software and branding, belong to Valulens OÜ or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers any such rights to you, except the limited right to use the Service as intended.
8. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Valulens OÜ shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for losses arising from reliance on reports or data provided through the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
9. Changes to the Service and Terms
We may update the Service or these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Estonia, unless mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.
